The ever popular Gem hotel a watering hole for many racing identities past and present has a great night of fun and entertainment planned to help raise much needed funds for the Tabone family.

Tickets to the Calcutta are currently selling for $5 each and will be available for sale on the night. Ten per cent of the Calcutta pool and all profits from raffles donated to the Tabone family.
Please note the Monthly BOTRA meeting will be postponed so members can support the night.

*John Tabone health update*
John is now out of the induced coma and has limited communication and restricted body movement, and is still being fed by a drip. The main concern of the medical team at Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital is the brain damage that occurred due to the fall. There is some thought that he may be moved to a rehabilitation unit in the near future hopefully on the southside of Brisbane as his wife Josephine resides in Alberton. The family continues to be supported financially with the funds generated after his fall.
